writing{my 150th post}

This is my 150th post, some how I missed my 100th post.  So...woo hoo for 150 post.  I did not set about blogging to be a writer or because I thought I was a writer, writing never even occured to me.  I am a thinker and a talker and more often than not I just plan skip the writing stage.  But as I look back over my post, there is not one post I regret writing and I really wish I had written more.  At any given moment thoughts are blasting through my head like fireworks, some are beautiful but then in the next moment are gone forever because I don't write them down.  This week Lisa Jo Baker said  "Here’s the thing, though, your story doesn’t matter because of who reads it. Your story doesn’t matter because of how many read it.  Your story doesn’t even matter just because you wrote it.......Your story matters because of the Word that breathes through you."  I will keep writing between dirty diapers, soccer practices, grading papers, canning beans, picking cucumbers, vacuuming, washing dishes, reading my bible, fixing supper, and all the other million things a mother, wife, teacher, daughter, sister, and friend does, because in the end my words are my voice, my thoughts are my own, and my story matters.

writing down your thoughts
so others understand
isn't always easy
for the common man
but when you write for
God and don't think about the rest
the words flow out
and it feels the best
you walk away knowing
your words are there to bless

Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 16:24 Leave me some honey.
