real is staying up too late
real is being out of bread and milk
and going to walmart for the third time this week
real is diapers, pacifers
and baby toys all in the floor
real is dirty hands and faces
and dirt all the floor beside the bath tub
real is piles of clean laundry not folded,
dirty dishes, and stacks of mail on the counter
real is the laughter, the tears, the smiles, and the cries
Real is that He is with us through all that is Real
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20
Dear Karrie,
ReplyDeleteI love this post on what being real looks like. I'm glad to know that others have very real lives.
Love the picture of your little boy. That is priceless.
Blessings in Christs...Susan
Love.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah...that is truly real living, real loving, and real mommy-hood :-)
ReplyDeleteSo true! I have a BOX full of filing. I am out of milk and bread and I really really really don't want to go. :(
ReplyDeleteThat is real life! Not what food network shows. Have a blessed weekend and Happy Mother's Day
